There are many different materials that can be used for sealing. They all have their own pros and cons. You should take into account the requirements of the application, the temperature range, the chemical resistance, and other factors in order to decide which material is best for each situation.

Types Of Sealing Material

One of the most common materials is rubber. It has good chemical resistance and is compatible with many different types of liquids. However, it can be difficult to work with because it requires vulcanization in order to make it soft enough to seal something.
