These lightbulbs are definitely within the range of 1800k but I don’t think they are actually putting out 800 lumens. I compared them with two flashlights I own, one has a gt fc40 led at 1800k and puts out 1200 lumens and the other has a 519a led at 2700k and puts out 1000 lumens so my test isn’t perfect but gives a good idea. These bulbs match the 1800k flashlight in color pretty closely but even the other flashlight that has only 1000 lumens seems like it’s at least four times brighter than these bulbs. It shouldn’t look that much brighter if there was actually only a 200 lumen difference, that is the actual difference between the two flashlights I tested and the difference of 200 lumens is nearly not detectable. I don’t have a way to test the brightness of these bulbs but from my experience from the flashlight hobby I would have to say these bulbs are only around 300-400 lumens. When I compare to a regular neutral color lightbulb, the lumen ratings seem to make more sense and match flashlights I have that are similar lumen ratings. It would be nice to get a lightbulb that was this color temperature but brighter and had the ability to dim, for this color temperature bulb the ability to dim would be really smart because this is the color temp people want to put next to their bed. I am happy that these are available and I do now have them in two lamps, one at each side of my bed, but my search will continue for a brighter and hopefully dimmable bulb.
