User Notice for private-labeled Well Before respirators

User Notice

Dear Customers/consumers,

 

Suzhou Sanical Protective Product Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (SSP) is a protective respirator  NIOSH respirator approval holder. We have 13 TC numbers approved by NIOSH.

 

Recently, NIOSH identified three SSP private-labeled Well Before respirators that were not conforming to our internal requirements and quality management system. 

 

These three respirators include the followings:

NIOSH approval TC-84A-7447, under private label Well Before P/N WB-N-200

NIOSH approval TC-84A-8146, under private label Well Before P/N WB-N-900-M

NIOSH approval TC-84A-6810, under private label Well Before, P/N WB-N-600

 

The nonconforming issues included:

1. Approval label has a discrepancy with the phone number on carton not matching NIOSH records

and change to formatting (i.e., red boxes used instead of borders).

*The correct telephone number on the Approval Label, to match the documentation supplied to NIOSH, is 001 4697671124. 

2. User Instructions has several discrepancies throughout. The phone number has been changed and formatting not followed, such as bolding and italicizing font, exactly how the “User Instruction” was accepted by NIOSH.

Our internal preliminary investigation showed that it was caused by quality management problems, 30 samples from each of the most recent manufactured, WB-N-200 and WB-N-900-M, were sent to NIOSH for testing and per testing found these samples passed performance efficiency, only mistakes in the private label and box design, which was inconsistent with NIOSH records. We have actively contacted the customer and NIOSH to resolve these issues ASAP.
