Traditional tee posts from Chicago Heights Steel provide outstanding strength, ease of use and durability for years to come. Strength, because our posts are made from rail-steel. Easy to use, because they have extensive applications, particularly for fencing on the farm or at home; and for chain-link fences. Durable, because there is simply no other high carbon steel product which is produced and controlled as carefully as these rails.
Heavy, medium and light duty posts are available in the standard lengths of 6,7,8,9,10 and 12 feet. Posts are made weather resistant by applying an industrial quality finish coat of rust-inhibiting green, gray, orange or red paint, with other colors available. Some post tops include an accent color and can also be reflectorized, as a special order. Posts can also be hot-dip galvanized after fabrication. Posts are packaged 5 to a bundle with a 200-piece master bundle.
Posts are simply driven into the ground, with no digging necessary. Wire clips provided with the posts quickly and firmly secure fencing. A rugged anchor plate locks the studded tee post straight and stable in any type of soil.

We have about 600 feet of line/perimeter fence to replace. It runs along our driveway and past the house. The front field is fenced with black metal (think chain link style) posts and top rail with no climb. We’d like to match it…but the cost would be prohibitive at this time, and as we share this with an iffy neighbor, we’d like it to be a bit more flexible if needed. My thought was to use Tposts, caps, field fence (to keep dogs in/out), and a hot wire top, to keep his horses/cattle/donkeys/pigs/sheep/goats (not kidding, all of them, mixed together…sigh) out/off. However, I’d love to match the look of the gorgeous fence 40 feet away on the other side of the drive.
So…can I paint Tposts black and have them stay that way?? Would I use a sprayer, lay them out and give them several good coats? Anyone done this? Am I crazy? What kind of paint would be best?
