Actually IIRC, Lulu.com gave me a price on their pricing adjuster almost $8.00 a unit for 350 pages color cover spiral bound. Compared to a perfect bound costing more than double that with same features. This assumes I didn't do anything wrong.

Another advantage I thought about was what a few of my friends do to their perfect bound books. They dissect them, and put them into binders immedeately. If I didn't remember the collossal failure of the Monstrous Manual binders being so bulky you needed a forktruck to move them, and how fast the 3 ring binding broke, I'd seriously consider them. Not to mention the advantages of being able to directly insert upgrades and changes by buying pre punched, unbound sections.

Yeah... at times that really can be a big problem. I know I flinch at some of the poor quality I've seen with some game types. Flinched to the point of I wouldn't buy it no matter how good the game was. That's why if I did go this route, it would have to be VERY well done, good art, meticulous layout and all that. I'm not sure if that can be pulled off... but then again, I have to look at the Monstrous Manual and even the original Marvel RPG made back in the late 1980's.

It's stuff to consider at least. Thought I'd get opinions.
