im at chapter 6, how do i wear and get costumes?

you equip them like you equip any other Aux core on a blade or equipment on a driver but you can only get the costumes by buyimg them in challange mode for noppon stones you aquire in there

challenge mode??? is it only ng+???but i see many videos with rex wearing costumes in cutscenes

This kinda sucks that you need either an aux core or gear slot to change costume

indeed it does should just been an option to change with a button input on select screen kinda how you change between pyra and mythra or so

that'd be broken, a lot of them are slightly better versions of top tier aux cores/gear.One in particular (newly added swimsuit ones) are absolutely broken, since both driver and blade equipping it basically nulls environment damage.

I think he meant that costumes should be it's own thing without any battle benefits, just costume.

I would prefer that yeah, the buffs from the swimsuit are nice, equip the one from your character and one for all 3 blades, and no more worries about AI derping when fighting around poison.

It's DLC.I don't know why that wasn't mentioned earlier, but it's DLC.
Operation Latex Turtle is a go.
Can I use costumes without New Game+, too?
Like the title says is there a way that I can use the customes that are unlocked after finishing the story or do I need to play the New Game+ mode? I ask, because there seems to be no way to start a new story except to delete your already existing save file and when I load my game it puts at a point after finishing the campaign.
