B-29 Rotor Core is for introduction of sample solution and recovery of fractions from the edge as well as the center of the zonal rotor is readily interchangeable with the standard cores. The ability to load the zonal rotor from the edge can greatly facilitate flotation-type runs. Also isopycnic banding in cesium chloride can be economically extended toTitanium zonal rotors with the B-29 Type core.
Major applications: Rate-zonal centrifugation of subcellular particles.
